NOTICE OF EMERGENCY MEETING
Pursuant to G.S. 143‑318.12(b)(3), notice is hereby given that the North Carolina Innovation Council will hold an Emergency Meeting as follows:
Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Virtual
Purpose of the Meeting
The sole agenda item for this Emergency Meeting is to hold a vote on the four options listed below:
- Submit no response to the legislative draft;
- Submit comments or proposed revisions by the Monday, May 11, 2026 deadline;
- Inform the Representative that the Council does not support changes to Chapter 169 at this time (and may request the legislation not be advanced);
- Consider any additional options proposed by Council members.
No other business will be conducted.
